Affiliate availability does not control calculator formulas, cost ranges, safety notes, methodology, guide conclusions, or whether a product is mentioned. We do not promise a favorable review in exchange for payment.

How links will be labeled

Commercial links will include a nearby disclosure such as “affiliate link” or “we may earn a commission.” Editorial links to government, standards, and research sources are not affiliate links.

Current product-selection standard

Any future product list must state the selection criteria, relevant limitations, and the date reviewed. Products that require professional design or installation will not be presented as a substitute for qualified local work.
